Great live band!
Nice place to have a beer, need to try the pitcher of Carlsberg with cider.
Expensive and miserable unless you go for a plain drink
Good food good service
Good price on pitchers. Cozy atmosphere. Barkeep wore kilts.
Great little spot, drinks and food are good! Some fun live music, and great service!
Great ambiance and the food is amazing! A fairly impressive whiskey menu as well.
Nice and causy place for a beer. You can eat on place, burgers, smoked meat and moreon the menu.
Great atmosphere and prompt service. Good value for your money.
Great fish and chips in a nice atmosphere
Conclusion: avoid eating there outside office hours.SECOND TIME (Saturday evening): fish & chips served with cold fish. On the second try, the fish was (just) warm and the breading a bit soggy and more oily. Very basic coleslaw instead of our salad from the first time. Waiter didn't refill our water once. Seemed a bit frustrated too that we didn't order beer.FIRST TIME (weekdays, daytime): Tried the Fish & chip; better than expected. Usually there's too much breading with too little fish, but this one although the breading is thick there's also a lot of fish (aiglefin/haddock) meat. The dill based sauce is awesome and the fries are crispy good. The salad is more symbolic than anything but better than the single decorative salad leaf they usually serve. Bit pricey, we shared the three pieces and left 33$ poorer (after tax and tip).
Need to improve in customers supporting before we buy some fun...
Great place to hangout and have a brew in an Irish feel with Irish themed music. Death Valley poutine is a great pick. I dare you to eat the whole plate ;). Fish and chips are also a specialty.
Nice little Pub. Fast for lunch, good food, friendly service.
Food was ok but attitude of French waiter was terrible. When my son asked him for a root beer and we translated it into racinette and he still gave attitude saying he didn’t know what it was. For an Irish pub in a very tourist area of Quebec City it was terrible.
Terrible food. Unfriendly staff. This place is passable if you're only having drinks and aren't in any rush..
Nice time
Wonderful experience! Good luck, Sara!
Fantastic food, excellent beer and look at the pint Matthew poured, absolute perfection.
Didnt have food but staff and experience was perfect. Was great with my child, will return and recommend for everyone.
Ordinary food, ordinary service
Neat Irish spot considering where it is located. The live music was solid and not crazy loud. Staff were friendly and the beer was cold. We ordered Nachos and well, they will go down as the worst we have ever had. Ice cold, top to bottom; no real cheese just cheese in a can. No flavour to speak of. All for $14. Not good. Thank goodness it was St.Patrick's day and we could see past the food.1
Excellent service in a fantastic true Irish pub. Cheers
Fantastic food and great staff
Good service but the food wasn't what we had hoped
Incredible poutine
Amazing place to chill. Courteous staff. Good hospitality
I had their cranberry bacon nuts salad. It's very rare for me to say this, but it was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S! Really!
Best Irish pub in Quebec City
The atmosphere was cozy and the irish style of the pub is just great. This place really has its charm. Tried the death Valley beer (it was good) amd with the Death Valley poutine... it was simply delicious. Even though I was full, I would have gladly taken another one !
Greatest chicken burger with beer!BGM was good rock choice, and kindness staff.
This pub is not the best place in town and that's sad because it has potential. The reasons are a slow and cold service even if we were almost alone in the afternoon. Selection of beer is very limited. Also, the chairs and table seems very dirty. This is really not inviting to eat.
Really small joint, but it has an excellent whisky selection and a nice Irish vibe going on. Be sure to come on Thursdays or Fridays to get the experienced bartender, he can give you a whole course on what whiskeys you order if you chat with him!
Good food, casual, nice staff to
Greag beer. Great drinks. Great live music. Great compagny. It’s a great pub right in the center of Quebec City.
Really nice location, friendly vibe. Wonderful poutine, Paninis, etc. Love the signs in gawlic a little bit everywhere, really sells the place as 'authentic'.
Great lunch spot. Friendly service and welcoming staff. Tasty food and the homemade coleslaw (salade de choux) is rediculously good! 5tars
Cold beer on a lovely patio on a warm day!
Good atmosphere and staff but if this is the best Fish and Chips in Quebec, I don't want to know what the rest are like. Virtually flavorless. Wouldn't pass muster in London.
love the deathvalley poutine with a 1604 pint of beer mmmmm
Good food and service + beer
Very personable staff. Met my wife's dietary needs and had the BEST poutine ever. Good selection of local Quebec craft beers.
Very busy at 6pm on a Friday. Very popular. All the wait-staff were in kilts - nice touch for an Irish pub
Great food with a selection of craftbrew
Irish pub grub with french speaking waiters in kilts. Good food, good service.
A real underrated gem! The staff is friendly and the poutines are out of this world. They also have great beers.
Smoked meat excellent
Our favourite bar in the City, great prices, staff and the Boss was a great guy for a chat, food excellent too.
Pub Grub, a good irish beer in hand and watching the television they had set up. Loved the beer flavored cheese bites and gravy on the poutine. The lady was energetic but didn't "invade my space" either. Thanks, I had a good time !
They opened up just for us because we heard they had the best poutine. Guess what...the did!!!
